Personal Care Service

Personal Care is a service designed to enable a consumer to achieve optimal functioning with ADLs and IADLs, and includes personal care services and homemaking tasks appropriate to a consumer’s needs. Personal care services must be provided in the consumer’s current place of residence.

PASSPORT (Pre-Admission Screening System Providing Options and Resources Today) provides families alternatives to traditional nursing home placement. PASSPORT provides essential in-home services and can curb the skyrocketing costs of nursing home care in Ohio. This long-term care program is funded by the Ohio Department of Aging and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. AAA9 is the PASSPORT program administrator responsible for participant assessment, case management and contract management with service providers in our nine county radius.
